No cancellations
Reservations can't be cancelled, moved or shortened once paid. Here's why, and the one case where you're refunded.
On this page
Once a reservation is paid, it can't be cancelled, moved to other days or shortened, and unused days aren't refunded. The reservation page, the checkout and the confirmation email all say so, so please check your days before you pay.
Why
Each reservation takes a whole physical machine out of the calendar for its days. We keep prices low and the same for every day by not holding back spare machines for last-minute changes, so a cancelled reservation usually means a machine standing idle.
Before you pay: changing your mind is free
Until you've paid, nothing is final:
- On Stripe's payment page, go back to return to the reservation page. The held days are released and your choices are kept, so you can pick different days.
- If you simply leave the payment page, the hold expires after about 30 minutes.
When you are refunded
You're refunded in full when we can't provide the machine you paid for:
- A late payment with no machine free. If your payment completes after its hold ran out and every machine of the type is taken by then, the payment is refunded automatically. See Payment.
- We can't provide the machine. If a machine fails before or during your reservation, we first try to move you to another machine of the same type. If we can't, we refund you.
Refunds go back to the card you paid with. We email you when a refund is made, and the reservation shows as Refunded. Your bank may take several days to show the money back.
If something goes wrong during a reservation
If your machine isn't reachable or isn't working, contact us with your reservation ID (it starts with res-, and it's shown on the reservation in your dashboard). We'll look into it straight away.
